Brocacef Healthcare Logistics, which is a subsidiary of Brocacef Groep N.V., hereinafter referred to as BHL, processes personal data.
We strive to handle your personal data carefully and securely within the boundaries of the law. In this Privacy Statement, we explain who we are, how and for what purposes we process your personal data, how you can protect your privacy rights, and what other information may be important for you to know. Who are we?
BHL is established Frankeneng 18B, 6716 AA in Ede, the Netherlands. The entity BHL acts as a data controller, as defined by law, for the processing of personal data described in this Privacy Statement.
What personal data does BHL collect from you?
BHL collects various categories of personal data, including (not in every case):
Personal details (e.g. name, address, city of residence, email address, telephone number)
Account details (e.g. username and password)
Purchase data (e.g. the date on which you purchased a specific product)
Marketing preferences (e.g. whether you have subscribed or unsubscribed from email offers)
Interaction data (e.g. your contact with customer service or digital and/or written correspondence)
We receive the personal data described above both directly from you and via third parties, insofar as this is permitted by law. We assume that these third parties inform you accordingly.
Personal data you provide directly to us
This includes:
Personal data provided when you create an account and/or other information you enter and submit via our website
Personal data provided when you purchase a product or service
Personal data resulting from your browsing behaviour on our website
Data provided in the context of correspondence, feedback, assistance (Q&A), live chat, dispute resolution, and similar interactions

You may share personal data relating to other individuals with us, such as address or contact details. We point out that it is your own responsibility to ensure that these individuals have consented to the provision of their personal data to BHL.
Personal data we receive from third parties
We may receive additional personal data, for example via third-party services, provided this is in accordance with the law, such as when you have given your consent.
For what purposes does BHL process your personal data?
BHL collects and processes personal data for the purpose of performing and administering agreements entered into with you. maintain administrative processes, manage communications, conduct (personalized or non-personalized) marketing activities, carry out fraud investigations, and comply with legal obligations. For quality and management purposes, BHL uses anonymous data as much as possible rather than personal data.
The purposes described above are further specified below.
In the context of an agreement
For the preparation, conclusion, execution, and possible termination of agreements between you and BHL.
Administration
For the execution and monitoring of BHL’s administrative processes in a broad sense.
Communication, marketing, and personalization purposes
For providing customer service, making (possibly personalized) offers, and/or providing and exchanging information about BHL’s activities.
Quality and management purposes
To investigate and improve the quality of services, processes, and systems, to inform management, and for internal audits.
Laws and regulations
For identification purposes, fraud prevention, internal control, corporate security, and compliance with laws and regulations.
On what legal bases does BHL process your personal data?
The law provides a limited number of legal grounds that justify the processing of personal data. These legal grounds are set out in the GDPR. BHL relies on four of these legal grounds. Our processing of your personal data takes place for the performance of an agreement, compliance with a legal obligation, based on a legitimate interest of BHL, and/or your consent.
Performance of an agreement
We use your personal data to perform the agreement concluded with you.
Consent
In some cases, we process your personal data based on your consent, for example for sending newsletters. You may withdraw your consent at any time. Under the section “Can you withdraw your consent at a later stage?” you can read how to do this.
Legitimate interest
We also process your personal data for BHL’s legitimate interests. More information about these interests can be found in the next section.
What is BHL’s legitimate interest in processing your personal data?
Processing personal data is necessary to maintain a good relationship between BHL and its customers, or for BHL’s reasonable business interests. For example, to inform customers about new products, services, and activities, or to defend BHL’s interests in potential legal proceedings.
To whom does BHL disclose your personal data?
BHL may disclose your personal data to third parties in accordance with this Privacy Statement and applicable law. Without your explicit consent, BHL will not disclose your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Your personal data may be received by the following categories of recipients:
Group companies
We may share personal data with our group companies in order to jointly provide content, products, and/or services (such as registration and customer support), assist in the development of products, websites, applications, services, tools, and communications, and to prevent, detect, and investigate potentially illegal activities, policy violations, fraud, and/or data security breaches.
Authorities
Such as supervisory authorities, tax authorities, police, and other statutory bodies. We may share your personal data:
to comply with legal obligations or a court order; or
if necessary for the prevention, detection, or prosecution of criminal offenses (such as fraud or deceit); or
if necessary to enforce our policies or protect the rights and freedoms of others.
Business service providers
For example, a delivery company engaged by BHL to deliver the product you purchased, or an organization engaged by BHL to provide customer service.
Other parties
Any third party for whom we have obtained your consent to share your personal data (for example in the context of a collaboration), and/or entities of which BHL currently or in the future forms part as a result of a reorganization, merger, or acquisition.
Is your personal data processed outside the EU?
No. Your personal data is processed exclusively within the European Union. All EU member states are required to comply with the same legal rules, ensuring a consistent level of protection for personal data processing across Europe.
How long is your personal data retained?
Your personal data will be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer necessary for the purposes described above. In addition, BHL will never retain your personal data longer than is legally permitted.
How can you manage your personal data?
You have the right to access, rectify, and/or erase your personal data collected by BHL. In addition, you may exercise the following rights: the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object.
If you wish to access your complete personal data processing and/or rectify or erase data (where permitted) that you cannot adjust yourself, you may contact your contact person within the relevant BHL entity.
To exercise your right to restriction of processing, data portability, or objection, you may also submit your request to your contact person. Please note that BHL may request additional information to verify your identity.
Can you withdraw your consent at a later stage?
If you have given consent for a specific processing of your personal data, you may withdraw this consent at any time. Please note that the withdrawal of consent does not have retroactive effect and is only possible if consent was previously given. You may withdraw your consent via your contact person within the relevant BHL entity.
If you are not satisfied with how BHL handles your data, we encourage you to first contact your contact person within BHL to discuss the issue. BHL takes complaints seriously and records every complaint in writing. If the issue is not resolved, you may use our complaints procedure. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with our Data Protection Officer at dpo@brocacef.nl. If the matter remains unresolved, you may submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. If you reside in another EU Member State, you may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. A list of EU supervisory authorities can be found on the European Data Protection Board’s website.
Are you required to provide personal data and what if you do not wish to do so?
In certain cases, providing personal data is necessary for BHL, for example to enter into an agreement with you or to provide a service. Information fields not marked with an asterisk (*) request personal data that is not mandatory.
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) indicate required personal data. If you choose not to provide the required data, we may be unable to conclude the relevant agreement or provide the service. By completing fields not marked with an asterisk, you consent to BHL processing the provided personal data.
How does BHL use profiling?
We aim to contact you in a personal and relevant manner. To achieve this, we link, combine, and analyse personal data to determine the most relevant target groups and segments, content, advertisements, information, timing, and communication channels, while limiting contact frequency. We also use external sources for this purpose. No special (sensitive) personal data is processed in profiles.
